Google Slides (also called Presentations) has nearly all the same functionality as Microsoft's Power Point, but, like Google Docs, there is the powerful ability to collaborate that really sets Google Slides above Power Point. In addition to this, like Google Docs, everything is stored in your Google Drive and can be accessed anywhere.

When you first get into Slides, you will see that many of the controls are the same as Google Docs.
There are some different features in that you can add "text boxes" in Slides, unlike Google Docs. There is also the easy ability to add in "Shapes" and "Lines." To add in animation, highlight what you would like to have animated and then select "Insert" then "Animation." |
